Service Delivery Manager

Service Delivery Manager – Milton Keynes – 50-55k + Car allowance + Company Bonus + Bens

This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the leaders in building Gigabit cities throughout the UK. The role will encompass several key functions to deliver high quality service and ensure that Delivery and Service processes are in place to meet business needs. The position is a stakeholder facing role, which requires the establishment and management of expectations within the business, and driving internal teams to meet those expectations to a high standard.
• To motivate and inspire the organisation’s people to achieve positive outcomes across the functions.

Key Responsibilities:

Service Design
You will be capturing the requirements across; the client, internal departments and supply chain to achieve positive outcomes.
Lead and facilitate the creation of business flows and processes that will underpin the positive outcomes.
Create inter-department scenario testing ensuring the processes are recognised, followed and adhered to.
Delivery
You’ll be accountable for the operational performance through the proactive leadership and management of other departments which are critical to the client positive outcomes.
Proactively managing and facilitating the forecast to actual deliveries via the client, internal departments and key suppliers.
You will be responsible for relationship management across; the client, internal departments, and key suppliers.
Transition
Support the information flow to the NOC and support teams ensuring the required information to baseline the service is received allowing understanding of the operating parameters of each service.
Champion Service in projects and develop a strong understanding of projects impacting your service area. Ensure service impact is minimised and agreed.

Essential experience

Strong Service Management experience gained within a telecoms environment
Strong leadership skills and ability to set good example to others
Excellent presentation skills and ability to present to senior management, clients and stakeholders
Ability to negotiate suitable outcomes that mitigate risk
Effective management of client relationships to executive level
Strong process management experience; create, review, revise, publish, implement
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Project and Visio
Good understanding of telecoms WAN technology and fibre optic networks.

You will be required to travel around the UK when needed.
